Perth is the capital of Western Australia and home to three-quarters of the state’s inhabitants. The metropolitan area is located on the west coast of Australia bordered by the Indian Ocean and the Darling Range. Some suburbs of Perth along with the Central Business District are situated on the Swan River.
Perth has 5 universities, UWA, Curtin, Murdoch, Edith Cowan & Notre Dame.
There are also educational institutions such as Canning College that offer a 1 year Foundation Course. A good performance in the Foundation Course will allow overseas students to apply for enrolment in these Western Australian universities.
Perth’s Meeting Hall is located within 2 km to both Curtin University and Canning College.
TAFE colleges provide trade and vocational training including Diploma level courses.
There are public and private primary and high schools throughout Perth and indeed WA as a whole.
